Wildflower Cafe & Country Store

The Wildflower Cafe and the Country Store were two separate entities in the Historic Town of Mentone.

In 1998, L.C. Moon moved to Mentone where she started her Herbal Product line- L.C. Moon Herbals.

Moon opened a store in the Heart of Mentone in 2002 where she sold Herbs, Health Foods, Organic Produce,

Local Art, Funky Clothes, Skin Care Products and Gift Items.

In 2004, the Wildflower Cafe opened in the Heart of Mentone. The original location was small & quaint only seating

about 25 people. Chef Ben took over as the Head Chef in late 2005. He added the touch of the

Signature Brunch Sampler and Gourmet Dinners.

In 2007, L.C. Moon and Chef Ben married each other and their businesses. They moved Moon's Store and

the Wildflower into its current location to form the Wildflower Cafe & Country Store.

The Cafe is now located in a restored house built in 1887. The Wildflower can now seat up to about

60 people inside and 30 or more outside.

The union of the Cafe and Store has created great ambiance and a unique dining experience that is casual and

upscale all at the same time. The Shabby Chic Environment and the Delicous Fresh Food has brought the attention

of media in newspapers, televison and even Southern Living Magazine.

Come in and enjoy one of the best meals you've ever had! Our desserts are all homemade, our coffee is delicous,

we serve handblended herbal teas, yummy hot chocolate, southern sweet tea, colas and more.
